Ok, So i'm down the tubes to the tune of £158, With my paypal, Because of a guy on eBay claiming a item i sent him hadn't been delivered so paypal and eBay decided too refund him and i've heard nothing back since, the item i sent was insured too £250, but how do i claim it, as it's a royalmail item, and i've basically been screwed over. i don't know what i should do as i'd sooner get the item back than claim, as he's basically made £260 off me, as that's the cost of a new one.

And breath.

Lets look at some facts.

Why as the buyer made off with £260?

How are you so positive the item was delivered?

If PP have refunded the buyer, that would have been after a period of investigation. Presumably you have proof of postage, and if it was insured for such a high amount. proof of delivery?

Has this information been forwarded to PP?

Bottom line...claim for the lost postage using the insurance you bought when posting the item.

 didn't know i could just do that, i'm ringing paypal uk now too try and sort the mess out i'll put a claim in tomorrow :)

It wasn't signed for but insured for £250??

If it was signed for, you can get proof of delivery from the tracking facility ;)

it was sent standard parcels, with extra insurance. i didn't post it so i don't know. sent the buyer emails and no reply, it's feeling like i've been screwed over..
