ebay payment help

Hi guys, wondered if you can just offer some advice on a item I sold on ebay..

The item I was selling was fully described correctly and also I stated, should the buyer have any further questions to contact me..

The item was listed as sold , I sent the invoice and no reply, so I sent a message through ebay enquiring when the item would be paid for.. this was yesterday..

The buyer contacted me this morning to ask if he could cancel his purchase due to not being what he needed..

As he made a bid and won.. what do I/can I do ?

Any help would be appreciated.. :)

you cant force him to pay but i think you might be able to get your fees back from ebay and then leave some negative feedback. although i think i not long ago read that sellers arent allowed to leave feedback now :? should get your fees back though

in "myebay" there's a drop dont menu at the end of the row where your item is. click that, select report a problem and open a dispute. you can either be nice and say you want to cancel the transaction, in which case ebay will contact him to make sure he agrees and you get your fees back. alternatively you can report the item as unpaid. ebay will contact him and tell him to pay. he wont so he'll get a strike against his name and you get fees back

You can 'report an unpaid item'
This is the only valid way you'll get your listing (and/or) final value fees back, but it won't be instant.

Then you'll have to relist the item (and you can block the buyer from bidding, if you're worried he might do it again).

Thanks guys , appreciated.. :) first time I have used ebay in flipping ages and this happens  ....

yours fees take about a week to get refunded i think. good luck with your sale on the next go! :D

As the others say Si, report it as unpaid item. You will get your fees back but not your time....he will get a neg. strike against his account...two or more I think and he will be suspended and quite rightly.
If he has made a mistake he should take it on the chin, buy it, and relist.

You have a legaly binding contract. An invitation to treat, an offer and an acceptance. He is legaly obliged to pay you, you can sue him.

It's not worth it.

Report him, get your fees back and block him from ever buying from you.
