If you have funds in your Paypal account then there is no charge but if your money comes from your bank account you incurr a charge.

how much were you sending as a gift*? and have you sent lots of gifts recently?



*of course you don't need to say but over a certain value you get charged, you can send two gifts though.

I've been gifting money, via paypal, from my bank account and not incurring fees up until yesterday.. not tried since..

If they do start charging, just need to add 4% to cover the sellers costs..

Taking the pith if they do start charging for gifts though :evil:

Not sent a massive amount of gifts but got charged £0.46 to send £7.50 yet just sent 19 Euros and not been charged so go figure.
