EBay... I've finally been got!

I know how you feel hydorah

i've been on ebay since 2003, have two accounts one for buying and one for selling and until recently both heavy hitters were at 100%
then i sold something, it went for a good price then nothing from the seller.

3 days later they email me and say sorry they don't want it now so i fire off a polite but definately direct pm telling them now due to the delay the second chance offer oportunity maybe missed and advise them next time not to bid on stuff they have no intention of paying for

go to make a coffee before emailing the second chance offer and come back...the non paying bidder has left my first ever neg???

obviously now it's had to go to a non paying bidder complaint but the buyer is even refusing to comment back on ebays system so i hope i can get the neg removed some way

Sylus...I have had neg. feedback removed from my account, also had the seller booted off Ebay. It can be done but sometimes you have to persist with Ebay.

eBay is a minefield of idiots.

Its not just eBay, its the world! full of strango's..

When i used to work in a bike shop I remember one guy returning to say he had recently purchased an inner tube and on his first ride on it, got a puncture from a thorn up the woods, and stating it wasnt fit for purpose!!!! ....claiming for a full money refund and for us to fix it for free!!!!

did he not realise his tyre was at fault for letting the thorn through?you will struggle to win a disagrement with that type of idiot :D

I would have thought that the moment he removed the rear mech it became his problem because it wasn't as you sold it. Personally, like others have said, I'd open a dispute with eBay and let them sort it out.

Even then all is not lost - all he needs is one of these;

:shock: you seem to know where to find a gadget for every occasion.

You are the master of fix... 8)

Good ideas on the frame saving gadgets, my goodwill partial refund will buy a couple of those

So I've let the guy know

He can by two and keep a spare for the next bike he buys!
