I've happily EBayed away over the last few years having nothing but positive experiences. Buying and selling and getting 100s of positive feedbacks
Today my inbox contains this:
"Hi,
I bought the dawes ladies bike from you, very recently.
I was changing the rear derulier, as it was very outdated, and I wanted to install an 8 gear wheel. During the process, when I took the derailleur out, I found that the rungs have completely worn out and corroded, so much so that I cannot install neither the old nor the new derailleur, so the the bike is no longer useable. Also, the rear wheel was not straight, and the disks were very loose.
This is setting me back from touring, we were expecting to leave on sunday. My friend has flown here from canada, and her time is limited. A prompt reply would be greatly appreciated."
The only bit that matches reality is the "I bought the Dawes ladies bike from you, very recently." part
It's non disk! No rust! No bent bits! I'm guessing 'rungs' are threads? I've asked him what he really expects from me... That will be interesting
