Here we go.....the tone was set with the C-26 auction and now everyone with a bike that's slightly rare is loading their cannons/listings. No doubt this one is rare. Wonder if this thread will break 10,000 peeks?

I knew I recalled that bike from somewhere. Had a vague recollection, thanks for bringing it all back. To be blunt the chap on the other thread (owner or not) was a bit of a **** (fill in the blanks as you wish ).

thought you were posting it with purpose since it's going for nearly 40% off its original asking price.

true; given the right circumstances, this one could get $3000 eventually; he's not doing himself any favors by listing it over and over again, each time at a lower price- a patient person will keep waiting to see how low the price will go.

How much would that bike cost to make today?

It is an amazing piece of work with rare components. The guy is just going at it wrong. If he listed it $0 start with no reserve and let it ride, he'd def make it over $2k, and maybe more.

Alternatively, set his BIN at $3500 and a reserve somewhere at two something. But yeah.......his alternative strategy hasn't seemed to pay off yet.
