Do these actually index properly with ANYTHING though?

I've used a set for 15 years now, they index with Shimano, Suntour and Campag 7 and 8 speed. I've also used them with Billet mechs and even with a 9 speed block made out of a normal 8 speed block and a TNT 10 tooth cog lockring. They are a little more agricultural than shimano and certainly more than suntour but they are lovely! Alternatively look out for the Simplex ones that are made in the same factory, look the same and have better adjustability and compatibility

I'm glad some of these have come up...... It'll give me an idea of what my NOS set are worth!

Also I'm fairly certain that the shifters are not called 870, but 825, see the scan below, 870 was a front mech if I'm not mistaken......

I know mate, I considered setting the alarm for these, but 4am was a bit silly....the rear and front mechs he had went for next to nothing too :shock: :roll: This always happens when I don't bother bidding as I think something will go sky high...... I check back the next day and nine times out of ten it went for peanuts!

I'm not sure really mate, I've never done it myself and wouldn't really know where to start..... I have put high bids in in the dying seconds before, but I don't know how to do those remote snipes.....?
