This has been up at least once before. And it didn't sell. The MBHOF nomination is self penned.

Many people were riding adapted and non adapted bicycles off road long before Kelly, Fisher et al. However history will show that the roots of the sport / hobby / pastime / whatever you want to call it are rooted in Marin County in the mid 70s.
