what s the top tube length ?
is the merlin 17" a true 17 ( with about 43cm C/T and 55cm top tube)
or
more of an 18 with
45cm C/T and 56cm top tube ?
this is supposed to be the "low end " merlin but what were the diff with the XLM ? quality of welds ? different tubing ?
seems quite OK to me
its a retrobiker selling ?
actually found something in earlier post
"Taiga was their low-end frame. It's positioned below the Extralight (XLM) and even the regular "Titanium". It used some straight-gauge 3/2.5 tubes and some CP tubes. If I remember correctly, the XLM was price at about $2500, the "Ti" was around $2000 and Taiga was around $1500."

Confirmed by the seller as 17" (43.2 cm) centre to centre & 19.25" (48.9cm) centre to top of seat tube.
So from the Merlin catalogue virtual top tube will be 23" (58.4cm)
