I was kinda interested in the red rims but read somewhere that the braking surface isn't that great....any experience with them?

How much you want for the Proflex with knackered shock?

Responses:

Red rims - they've got silver alloy braking surfaces so don't see why they should be any worse than any other rims. Sun rims had a decent rep back in the day.

Proflex - I'd take the opening bid price for it plus postage. Make me an offer if you'd like to take it outside of the bay.
