Easton 6500?

My first post, I have come across an Easton framed mountain bike Badged as 'Easton 6500' only the finish is blue anodised. Never seen one before and would love to find out a bit more about it. Pictured here not the original wheel! Trans x 1'1/8 ahead stem original shifters were Suntour twistgrip - but got binned as they didn't work. Will get some more pictures but headbadge is Easton. Also have a Coyotte which again is easton tubing.

It does look kinda similar (structurally) to the Iron Horse frame in this thread?

definitely the closest match I've seen. main differences I can see are the mech hanger and the cable mounts which on the blue framed are on a plate which is the same profile as the frame tube and then rivited on. gives me sore more info to go on. Thanks
