Early Ti Fat!!!

Yes, I can also see. Final pic, 3cm from the ring. Very informative. I do not give that an anything.

Chill dude?

 Easy dudes...a little history here or something? Or perhaps a little cabin fever setting in?

I'm not sure, but I don't think the bike is being sold by Scant. The pictures are fair - we've all seen worse but supersize and some better close ups would be nice for sure. I'd ask for more pictures from the seller if I was trying to buy it.

Based on what I can see and what the seller states in the advertisement, and his perfect rating (not to mention his eBay ID), I don't think this is anything but exactly what he says it is.

Any excuse to post a photo of mine (although similarly poor - maybe Fat Ti's are hard to photograph...)

Similar age with the sleeves and the machined seat tube, although mine has a round head tube:

At some point I must get this out of storage and have a play, maybe once the snow, ice and salt has disapeared as this is a real garage queen! Far too much nos stuff not to be a wall hanger!!

scantit'll make around $1200 regardless. quote said:
Try $1,625 USD...

Demand seems to be high for Ti Fats! Some say the machined tube Ti Fats are worth more than the sleeved too (this was a sleeved tube frame).

Any one on this site get it?

This one was machined and sleeved:

Nicely machined at the top of the seat tube.

Sleeve just visible on the down tube

Ones with the sleeve and machining are the earliest and most desirable (obviously I would say that as that's what I've got!)

Dont know the buyer, but he seems to have a fancy for collectibles, although not necessarily towards mtbs. Perhaps we'll see it relisted, with an obscene price.
