hi posting this on behalf of a friend, with pictures to follow.

he has what he is told to be a 1988 kona/ tbg fire mountain. u brake rear, 1" headset. it is blue with a predominantly white splatter. top tube is 21.5", seat tube is 19.5 to the top, 17 to the centre. it will come with the u brake, a project 2 fork (not sure if it is period correct but not matching the frame as it is black) and a nice silver headset.

he is in need of a decent set of forks and a decent aheadset. 1 1/8 ahead and they need to have a big steerer, 230mm from memory but will confirm. i think he would prefer bombers or judy's

in my opinion it is a cracking deal

Hmm, pics would be good, :) where abouts is it also?
Only thing I poss have is my old White Bros DT1.2 20mm axle, low miles really, could poss use a service, not used them for a while..

will it come with the ubrake?

stripping my on one so the frame/forks are up for graps. think marzochhi forks are only 210mm tho, and drop offs btw,in brown

u brake is included.

he needs the fork for the kona you swapped with my specialized. i have robbed the judy's for my lts

by the way, do you kniow what the score is with that extender in the steerer of the judy? it doesnt seem to be bolted up but i can t shift it either

wedged in proper, the usual quill wedge isnt fitted as the fit was very very snug.

if he wants the forks for the frame etc, thatd be ace, need to build a cruiser to take daisy offroad with, let us now chief 8) , forks should fit with a smallish type stem, ill measure them later

I think it's a 90/91. 88/89s were teal (celeste for you Bianchi fans) w. splatter and had curved blade Project 2s.
