Early Rock Lobster

I hate this bike.

But only because it was supposed to be mine!

I'd reached an agreement with the original seller just before Christmas, for A LOT less money.

Then this guy came in, made a higher offer, switched out some things during his "restoration" (and, in my opinion, in the process lost most of its soul) and flipped it for well over double the price.

Do I sound bitter, still?!

Personally, I would have given it fresh cables, a new chain, a good clean up, and maybe an un-cracked white Turbo eventually.

Anyway, here's how it looked originally, when it was better and still under a grand:

I hate when that happens. Gazumping etc. is all all too commonplace these days. Everyone wants to play Freud’s uncle. I don’t like this bike anymore. Rogue Lobster!
