The steel Rims and cantis are shocking.
Of course its early so there wasn't much choice, and road components have to play a part.

Luuuurvely! I’d call that colour cafe crème. Steel rims definitely dodge, but the dia compe cantis were ok for their time.

That s a rare beauty,i think the rims are chrome steel Arayas,just like there 7xs.I didnt konw they existed until i saw a pair recently fpr sale.If only i was closer

I've got a pair of lovely Dunlop lightweight chrome rims on my Curly. They weren't cheap either.

Sh1t brakes were normal in the 80s though.
