Which is it, early Jarre or early Vangelis? You know the era, Mellotrons, ARP, Fairlights etc. Back when knobs had to be twiddled and plugs had to be plugged:

Big fan of vangellis' work, blade runner sound track still blows me away.

As for Jarre, oxygene and equinox are dated but still awesome.

Love the sound of early synths. Have you ever heard Boards of Canada? I can heartily recommend their Music has the Right to Children album.
