Thanks to everyone who helped me acquire this lovely gate, I threw a few parts on it yesterday and rode it up the lane, felt lovely and a good fit for me.

Think these are past it or just requiring elbow grease. Can you get replacement hoods anyone know?

That's an interesting looking beastie. I'd love to know the thinking behind the unusual layout. Lighter? Stiffer? More compliance in the seat?

Well a little bit of progress, built myself a new rear wheel. Was all set for h plus son tb14 for the vintage look but when I rang spa cycles to order the fantastically grumpy guy persuaded me to get an offset kinlin instead, and they were a good bit cheaper so I went for it. Not very vintage looking but I like them and they're not black...

Had another quick spin, feels very lively, does it look like full touring geometry to the experienced eyes here? No front rack fittings.
