Early Gios Super Record... Info and advice?

I just landed a Gios Super Record at the Seattle bike swap! It's not in the best shape, but it has some cool parts for sure. I was wondering if someone could help with the year. Also, what do you think the decal said after "super record" on the top tube?

The only numbers on the frame I can find are "58" on the bottom bracket shell. Parts are mostly Campy NR/Record and in good condition. Old logo Cinelli stem makes me think it's early 70's. "GT" pantograph Campy seatpost. The wheels and crank are non original, but it also came with a pair of Record/Dura Ace hubbed Mavic GP4 tubulars

Now to decide what to do with it. The intention is to flip it in some way or another, unless I fall in love with it (it's my size!). It has some rust, and the paint/decals are in rough shape. Any guesses what a rust removal, repaint, and re-decal could cost? I'd love to keep it complete, but parting it out may be the most viable option if that's too expensive.

Gios

The 58 on the b/b will be the frame size.
Transfers are available on e bay from GTS753 in Australia.
In the UK you will looking at around £130 for the re paint, £50 for re-chroming and £34 for the transfers set.
I know because have just built my own one.

Renovating your Gios

I'd put this as late 1970's, possibly very early 80s.

But, as others have intimated, this will be well-worth re-investment by respraying, transferring, re-chroming to restore it to its' former glory. You'll easily quadruple the value.
