Suntour XC Pro very early - pre compact long cage - brilliant design just breathe on it and it shifts. 31.8 clamp. Bottom pull.

Silver one looks like a DX M650 mech, so 1990-93 at the latest (i.e. not 1995), in fact it's not as sparkly so MT62? late 80s.
Normally the M code are quote so it's easier
M735, M737 for Shimano

How do you know the Suntour is not MicroDrive (it's very hard to tell and I've forgotten now. any date code ?)
Model codes are never on them iirc.
But Suntour, jut put the adjuster screws in the correct place, so easy to access.
Also you can take the cage off and put it on another band.

Yep FC - you are right - was rushing on Sunday - silver one is Dec 90 DX according to codes, and SunTour pre-compact GL Code also Dec 1990. Thirty years' old. On my word how time flies....
