early 90s shifters ?

Gotta say I love my 92 XT push-pulls. They haven't had a great deal of use though so judging from the above maybe I should savour them while I can!
 
Best looking brakes of my childhood and I still love the look are M092 so the only push push you'll want in my opinion.
But I prefer gripshift to the other choirs at that time.. Well once SRT 500 came out a bit later. The cx-dt where interesting and looked the business though.

Yes the M092 brake levers are so very nice with their little clear plastic window so you can watch the Servo-wave mechanism in action.

Many a pair of those had the shifter mount hacked off to make room for a nice set of XT thumbies.

To be fair to the MO95 and M075 Rapidfire plus (push-pull) shifters, they do work and last if they are looked after.
So, as mentioned, clean lubed cables, soft fluffy cushions and a near fanatical devotion to the pope.
