early 80s Olmo - full campagnolo

Picked up this Olmo from eBay a few weeks back. Rides beautifully and little else I can do with it apart from keep polishing and snapping more pics. Last owner bought it as frame only and stuck full campagnolo groupset on it with Cinelli bars. Only thing I don't like is the San Marco saddle which I've never found as comfortable as Brooks.

Really good looking bike, looks mint. Is that the original paint? If so someone has treasured that bike, barely any marks or blemishes, great find. Always liked the frame geometry that Olmo used.

Yes, as far as I know it's the original paint job, metallic red. It's not actually that perfect though, there are a number of scratches on the rear seat stays but only looks bad when you look real close. Not enough of an expert to know the difference in geometry between different brands of bike, I just know that I like it when I see it. And what I like is usually skinny steel tubes, horizontal top-tubes and classic looks.

Amen to that - great find, have looked a few times at this now and can see exactly why you bought it.
