I bought a set of the test sl cranks recently but there is some wear I'm concerned about, rub which has made it through the decals and into the carbon up top next to the axle bolt.
I could forget about it and buy some decals to cover it, but wondered what the real difference is between the race and sl versions really is, as there's a set available with a stripped nds pedal thread but the drive side is all good.
Decals are slightly different, and on the inside arm it says sl on one and trsr on the other. I can live with that if there's no huge difference and running mismatched arms isn't going to be a bad thing.
Anyone know what the differences are and if it's ok to mate the two, or if just buying some decals is also ok. The wear isn't too bad, just more than expected. Probably going on a bike that won't see heavy use.
