I looking for a new e-mail address. I have GMX at the mo. And if i send out to many emails they block me sending e-mails for an hour  even if it's to the same person who is in my address book and they reply.

So time for a new e-mail. I have a AOL e-mail but that gets spam.

I was going to get a Google mail but every time i ask for a name for my a/c it tells me that's no allowed.

So what do people recommend :D

I've never really thought about changing, been with Hotmail since about 94 I think. With the Windows Live client it does me fine and I can get my mail pretty much anywhere via the web client.

Same here, have had the same email address since 1997 and the same mobile phone number since 1996, i don't like change

Got my ISP (tiscali) ones, a yahoo.co.uk one, a rocketmail.com one and my hotmail.co.uk one

The rest are through my web hosting...

Brilliant, but adverts if you don't pay for it, which is fair enough.

This looks promising. Does it allow me to make up my e-mail name? unlike gmail

Do you mean the bit after the @ ?

If so, you can, but you'll have to buy the domain name with a hosting company. If not, it needs to be what's available. And they're outside the realm of the basic email services - you'll have to pay!

Buying a www.whatever.co.uk or .com etc address is not hugely expensive, and then you can have your own personal email. For my work email, I brought our .co.uk domain and then I pay extra for my jon@ email. Thereafter, we pay year by year to retain it.

No the first part before the @ Every time i chose some thing Gmail wouldn't allow. It had to be based around my name. Which i don't want.
