Dynatech anyone?

It’s a Mission? Very tempted, put off by it needing a Mavic bottom bracket and the ensuing expense - am I correct in thinking that means the threads are shot? I’ve got Mavic BBs on a couple of road frames but not this type. In their completed items someone got a bargain - the Mavic chainset and bottom bracket I guess that were on this frame - the bottom bracket is the type that has a 45 degree chamfer that would have been chased out of the frame.
Oh and it’s missing it’s hologram sticker!
Very cheap though!

Yeah. That's a Mission. Reynolds 2060 construction- same as the higher Voyager model. Agree with the Mavic bottom bracket hesitation though...don't know anything about that type of bottom bracket and it's foibles.
What about this one instead? - The XT specced Odyssey had the Reynolds 2070 construction too.. same as 653 tubes. Also has the straight Max drive forks too.

Mission is also the 2070 tubeset Ben, -slightly more lively/springy than the Voyager, maybe
Nice frameset for £30…😀

From Velobase.
Explains why you'd need an angle on the outer face of the bottom bracket.

This bottom bracket was designed to be used even if the threads of the bottom bracket shell were damaged. The whole cartridge body slid into the shell and it used two angled lockrings to hold it in place. It required that the edge of the shell be chamferred for a secure press fit. Mavic made this tool briefly and it's availability is quite limited
