Dura Ace AX Downtube shifters

When these came to me they where put together in the order

3,1,2 inside the band then 6,4,7,5 but when together it will not fit around the down tube. Item 3 would damage the down tube. Should item 1 fit inside the band, there is like a keyway for it but the washer is too large.

Anyone have a drawing? One to take to pieces?

I can see from Velobase that mine are together wrong. just need to know what is right

I would say 3 inward, 1, 2, 6, 4, 7, 5 outward. In that order.

And you are right on the money, together they are as smooth and tactile as only Dura Ace can be.
