you could use your 8 speed spacers and these 7 Boone cogs (and 2 of your current cogs) to make a shimano 8 cassette http://www.ebay.com/itm/Boone-titanium- ... 35e456821c

interesting idea. i wouldn't buy used cassettes etc to be honest and certainly not at his asking price!!
