Dura Ace 7402 mech vs Ultegra 6400 shifters.

Hi, Currently have a set of almost NOS 6400 STI levers and a very nice RD-7402 rear mech.

Can I use them together over an HG-70 8 speed cassette by doing the 'Sheldon Brown cable routing B trick' or not?

Not a huge problem as I have a RD-6400 as well, but Dura Ace is nice.

If no-one knows I'll try it and report back...

My 7402 rear derailleur works well with 8 speed 105 Sti's on Shimano 8&7 speed and Campagnolo 8 speed all sweet as a nut with normal routing cheers Bill

I did know there was some difference with the cable pull ratio but if it works that's brilliant.
