Also got an idea for grips, get one grip, cut into rings and space rings equally apart on left and right ends of bars hence one grip becomes two

Uncovered plastic seat further drilled, plastic cheapo levers might be lighter than alloy. Will go canti route as cheap cantis can be quite light.

Possibly a wee bit feared to drill cranks as SS puts a lot of strain on cranks.

The mind is working, this is a great challenge

Not sure I can do the weight weenie thing properly, already struggling to come to terms with mixing avid with xt never mind using one grip only, just get the foam one non?

still got to do the initial weigh in for frames
candidates are 18" zaskar , a-stars asr300, 2.8 ser dale , caad3 dale
or a 3,8 ser dale
wont mod the a-stars tho ,but the others maybee
will be rigid and s/s, probably
