Sheffield is much the same.

Shat nav sending me down bus lanes and a hotel we needing to get to that we could only see.........

Wasn't the premierinn was it? I did a lot of work in central sheffield and after three laps decided to sod it and use the 50yds of buslane separating me from my goal!

I was going to post about Sheffield in this thread and you beat me to it!

sat nav played up, tried to send me the wrong way down one way streets, turn left and right when I couldn't...

Should've driven like a local and just gone the wrong way down one way streets and gone left or right where you shouldn't. Or is that just the locals round my bit of Leeds?

I've driven in London hundreds of times, never needed shat-nav, it's a piece-of pi55 doddle it is, and one of my favourite places to drive as far as conurbations go.

Just did not get on with Leeds is all I'm saying..

Easy when you know your way round the fine city of Leeds. Could have been worse, you could have been somewhere like Manchester! :x

I used to visit the Health Authority in Leeds 10 years back - (before satnav) - with my trusty Multimap print off - nightmare. Could see it just over yonder. Could I get to it? No chance

Leeds is OK... Admittedly, loop is a bit of an arse...

Don't get me started on Manchester

YORKSHIRE!!

i used to hate driving in leeds but once you've been a couple of times it starts to make sense.

i dont like city driving in general. i live in semi rural lincolnshire and we flash people out of junctions and say thank you and that sort of thing. the closest we have to a complicated road is a set of traffic lights. there's even a filter for turning right that usually gets ignored.
