Dropout Width General Knowledge Quiz!

Right then. Before I go into the garage armed with a tape measure I though I would give the retrobike massive a chance to shine. Distance in mm please of front and rear dropout width for:

1. Standard mountain bike.
2. Road bike.

I was going to add track, but realized most of these will be nuts! I am looking for a Q R longer than an MTB front, but slightly shorter than a rear!

135mm , new downhills could also have 150mm

and depends on age of roadie

Road bike depends on the age 126mm - 130mm though TBH if it's steel it doesn't really matter as the stays have enough flex in them to bend out or crush in a bit without dong any damage. (120mm for fixed or SA hubs)

If it's for your new bags it'll have to be the one they came with, or the one that came with them. IIRC it's 110mm.

The Ritchey one isn't long enough. A rear MTB one could be made to work if I bodge slightly longer spacers and then remove a small amount of excess axle. I was hoping a road rear would do the trick.
