don't know who build it or how or when... the only thing i can say is that those welds look really terrible!

Don't slate it till you've ridden one! People racing on those frames have taken the UK DH Champs, Scottish Champs and Welsh Champs, plus countless podiums on the UK NPS DH, Scottish and Welsh Series races.

Granted that black paint job sucks, it looks best in white! And you are right, they're built in the back of an under-rail-viaduct-garage in Newcastle by Tom Barker. Sadly he no longer makes the frames as his son has stopped racing.

pardon my ignorance but don't URT frames normally stiffen up when you stand on the pedals? Is this so plush that you can sit down for the whole DH course? C'mon I'm interested, whats the deal?
