Doug Bradbury Manitou Project

Thanks guys, it was a labor of love.

I didn't bling it out on purpose, I'll leave that to Marin Man and his Answer Manitou. Not a big fan of the colorful CNC stuff. I like to ride my bikes *wink, wink*.

Well, whether you like it or not, in my opinion your bike is blinged out, just not in color. ;)

Full M900 but with Cook Bros cranks. The bb is a White Ind with a long spindle. Answer bars, Manitou (Bradbury) stem that I had to have the quill replaced to 1 inch. Fork is a Manitou (Bradbury) suspension, a rigid fork would be nice but super rare. Its taken me almost two years to find a stem. The bike came with the modified M900 145mm wide hub and luckily I had held onto a wide (115mm) Manitou front hub.

I'm not sure what tubing is used but its not that crack-tastic stuff used on the later Answer frames. I need to read the old magazine articles I have, I'm sure they specify it. No idea on the weight, sorry.

Fork photo below. I need to replace the elastomers and since I took this photo I've had the steerer replaced with a shorter one:

I thought I was the only one who had that fork. I think there were only 250 made by Bradbury. This was before Answer made them. Mine is apart too. I need to source some elastomer too. Mine turned to jelly. Let me know when you find them.
im after some of these for my marin but very hard to find with graphics still on and working :(
