Doug Bradbury Manitou Fork First generation

I´m no expert in Manitou as I am focused on other parts/companies.
This picture is showing a similar fork: DSC_3187.jpg

Forks are genuine, the seller might not be. Reminds me of that nut job Klein owner from Spain who was on here.

Doug hand made the forks so they were in a constant state of flux and amendment, almost like rolling prototypes before the Answer ones became the final product. Welded dropouts, machined dropouts, straight dropouts, offset, 100mm spacing, 115mm spacing, steel stantions, titanium stantions. I’ve owned a few of his, all the machined dropout later Bradbury versions, but I would love one of those earlier sets…just not for that money!

Cause it is a very good job, seems made by a handcrafter who knows very well his job... but it's not a real Bradbury's work. It is clearly a recent job too.
Basically saying: It is like that because it is like that.

That's ... interesting
