Dorset/Purbecks ride aftermath

It was a great day riding and thanks to the guys setting this meet and showing us the trails, weather was good, cold to start off but perfect for rest of the day, I didnt take many pics as I was enjoying the flowing single tracks and didnt want to stop taking pics, some nice bikes there too, I liked both Klien's bikes, hope there is another ride there sometimes next year.

BTW, a big thanks to Jon's mate who helped out when I had a puncture, cheers

It was a quality ride, a nice mix of old and new machines and a decent route too.

I've uploaded a few pics but I'm on dial-up so they're low-res and small.

Some great pics...

Was a truly good ride and great to put some faces to some familiar names.
Would have been nice to get in the stone seat climb and the 'Old Harry' descent but time was not on our side.

Plus side
Some great bikes turned up (surpassed my expectations especially from the local riders)
Minus side
F'in freezing first thing and having to wear old school lycra outfit.

Very impressed and now looking forward to IOW.

Bottom pic shows the only true failure of the day. a overtightened handle bar bolt. and charlie the bike mongers proven method of fixing it....electrical tape :roll:

That handle bar fix was hilarious! Was funny he'd been saying all day how he didn't trust the handlebars not to break.
