Doing up a Raleigh Record Sprint - where to start??

I have dug out a bike from the back of the shed in the hope of doing it up, but now it is out I don't know where to start. The tyres are completely flat, there is dust and rust everywhere, the chain is off, it has the old dynamo lights and it looks a big old mess, but I would really love to be able to one day ride it after fixing it myself.

Any tips/advice on where to start?

Re:

Strip the whole lots down to its component parts, clean/degrease and then reassemble replacing any parts that are worn would be my best guess.

Re:

I am using a Raleigh Ace for eroica and classic use

my advice is to clean it- get air in the tyres- and avoid at all costs changing anything unless its in two halves!

i reviewed mine and could find justification to replace just about everything- but that not the point is it?

Okay, you've got friends here. Pictures, pictures, pictures.

Then we can advise where to go.
