First couple of nights will involve a bit of whinning etc.
But because the dog sleeps in the cage it will come to know it as its safe place(do not place the dog in the cage as a punishment).
As a result the dog can go in the cage while you are out and he/she won't be able to eat kitchens or furniture![]()
