Does this look like shill bidding to you.....

This is one of the reasons I only ever bid in the dying seconds. That's also the reason why I've forgotten to bid on auctions I really wanted to - and it's doubly bad, when I find either nobody else did, or whatever it was went really cheap.

Talking to an utterly useless eBay bod from their Trust and Safety Department - ho flippin ho!
Totally futile I know - but I will probably vent about the fact that they are as corrupt as their cheating sellers.

Might just withdraw my bid though.

You never know - it might just do some good.

People who trade a lot, who've been getting away with it, may well reconsider if doing so jeopardises their trading on the bay.

I'd do that now, if you can.

From the eBay bod
"And we didn't found any links with shill bidding"

I only bid in the last few seconds for what I would like and I say ''would like'', because saying ''want'' tends to bring out the irrational in me and I end up spending more than I wanted to. This way, if someone beats my bid, then the item wasn't for me and fate decided, but there will always be something else along soon, perhaps as good and perhaps even better and there usually is, so this works for me.

Bidding on stuff early in just hikes up the price and really doesn't serve the customer, if you really want it get in to the scrog and bash at the end. But an observation, those who bid early putting on ridiculous amounts, never does an item seem to finally go for that sum or anywhere near it, so whats the point unless it is the bidder thinks no one else has noticed.
