Does anybody have any info on the Ritchey built KHS frames?

I'm a huge KHS fan, after racing one in the 90s it became my favourite bike. I've since recreated my old bike and love it.

I had a limited knowledge of some 1991 Team framesets being made by Tom Ritchey before production switched to True Temper and Taiwan.

Fingers crossed I should be taking delivery of a Ritchey made Team frame next week and I'm trying to dig out some information on these frames. But Google isn't being much help.

Does anybody know any details about these frames? Are they essentially a P21?/P23? frame in KHS colours?

You lucky so and so! I've been looking on and off for one of these for ages...

You're right, there's precious little online these days but the frame is basically a P-23 with KHS paint. These will also be a P-series frame number on it.

You can see that the frame has Logic forks as well, instead of the larger profile Spinner versions on the later frames.

Thanks Mynchiboy, it's really hard to find anything concrete online. The frame number is 7642, which doesn't show up on a Ritchey database I found.

It's an 18", just slightly longer than my True Temper 17" bike.

My unidentified single speed frame looks similar to that, but based on the difference in frame numbers that must be another close-but-not-quite.

Well I emailed Ritchey in America and it seems they don't mess about, my query went to the big man himself.

This is one the things that is so amazing about this community.
