Amen....only magazine testers could get hold of a full bike with matching ano back then. The rest of us could never find it all from UK suppliers and even at proforma trade prices the stuff was £££s. I confess to a bad case of over compensation in the last few years though

Only thing was a couple of blokes on mtbs, one being a yellow courier, with the muddy fox logo dish wheel that saved me from a mugging, but that was the late 80's.
I've actually always had respect for the yellow muddy fox.
