IMO you should NOT have put this thread here , and should have contacted all parties by email .

now it is on here , the seller will probably recognise the transaction , and this might end up in an unnecessary thread , and bad feelings .

sounds like an honest mistake

in terms of value, does the "wrong" size you have hold a similar value to the "right" size you paid for?

totally agree with above, any problems always contact person direct first. I think this is normal forum protocol across all forums.
I've bought brand new parts from online shops before now with different size contents to whats written on the box, so it doesnt surprise me & is likely a genuine mistake as mentioned above.
