Dilema....what to do....

Hi all, I have just acquired a new project, something I have wanted for a while, a rod braked bike. It has two features, among many, the are giving me a problem. There is a fully enclosed, oil bath chaincase....and a beautiful, OEM chainwheel, really distinctive, which will be hidden if I refit the chaincase. What do I do Any help greatly appreciated.

Most full chaincases have a removable disk where the chainset is if you have one of these you could just leave it off best of both worlds

Keep the chaincase. They are brilliant and you probably still have the original chain still in there - they will go on almost forever if the bath is topped up occasionally.

Yep, I think keep the chaincase, but lose the central disc. Looks nice
