Okay if you're a total weight weenie cyclist you need your own digital scale to geek out with. I picked one of these up had so much fun with it, I thought others would want to goof around with them as well.

You can weigh your components and obsess over whether SRAM Red really is worth the extra moolah...
You can finally justify your rant as to why XT thumbshifters are sooo much better than push/pull modern stuff or whether Suntour XC Pro really is the cool retro setup.
You can set up your fixie with just the lightest vintage old high zoot drilled stuff that lines the nooks and crannies of Yellow Jersey.
You can finally 'know' that using downtube shifters on Kelly Take-Offs with vintage drilled brake levers is "way" lighter than an STI brake/shifter setup, and have crisp 10 speed indexing.
You'll know exactly how much weight you saved by using Paul's Thumbies w/Bar-Con shifters in 'em instead of using them in the bar ends.

You NEED this scale.

Every gram you take off your bike will equal something or other off your triathalon/hillyhundred/competitive group ride time.

Its precise to within a tenth of a gram. Heck, the Park DS-2 is only accurate to within 2g:

Has a programmable piece count/weight function perfect for counting out brass nipples/washers for building wheels. Tare function. Can be calibrated with 500g standard weight any time you get the compulsion...

1000g max capacity. Comes with tray for holding bigger things to weigh (cranks, seatposts, hubs) which you (use the Tare function to reset to zero).

Yes its that precise, first pic is mine weighing an 8 speed barcon shifter and yes it only weighs 88.9g. What's geekier than a digital scale to weigh your barcon shifters? Show the STI crowd how bloated they really are!

This is a $45 scale:

I got a deal on a bunch and thought I'd pass it along to anyone else who wants to Geek out!

Kno its against the guidelines, great thinking I use two all the time, but on Ebay UK the same type of scale are less than half $20 delivered. You may want to reconsider your pricing sorry?
