Not necessarily. He may have just chucked whatever was laying around on the bike to sell it.

Hi Nice bike. What is the size number stamped on the left rear dropout near the wheel mount? Is the serial number on the bottom bracket shell or on the rear dropout? Is it 6061 aluminum or 7005? Thanks

This will tell us if it is a Zaskar. I am pretty sure it is an Avalanche.

Yeah he sent me a message in reply saying "Hi dont think it is a zaskar it is a gt serial number on the bottom bracket shell. aluminum 7005 its my friends bike he bought it as a zaskar thank you ghost" so i guess since his friend got screwed they figure they will just pass along that bad karma.
