Did anyone on here get this £10 Zinn?

I have posted in the whats it worth thread but things get lost in there so anybody got any idea on what sort of a bargain I got?

Check BOTM entries this month. The Zinn on there went for £280 on eBay or there abouts and I think it is the same as yours - Z Classic with Sachs stuff - although it doesn't have the campy headset.

The frame set that you have pictured has got to be worth £125-£150 on a good day? If it was me I'd sell it with all the orginal bits too as they are hard to find if someone wanted to buid it in a catalogue spec - hard to tell from the other pics but it looks like mechs/cranks/brake/levers/thumbies are all scahs?

It is fair to say that you will out perform any saving rate that is currently on offer with this investment.

Mech and shifters were replacements, shimano sis tat. Needless to say they found their way into the bin pretty sharpish. so whats left of the original stuff is the front mech the cranks levers and cantis. The seatpost is stuck but will get that out before anything else happens.

These were available as frameset only, so maybe theyr'e not replacements, since the success came with Sachs headset and not campagnolo, i'd say it was bought as a frameset, but I could be wrong.

The mech looked a bit new for the frame and the shifters were horrid plastic units more suited to a bso. The headset is a thing of beauty tho.

No, it's probably a keeper once I've got around to finishing it, although I don't think that would be out of the question.

Nuffink in ebay completed or otherwise, and a banged up one minus headset from 2 years ago isnt a lot to go on.

That 'banged up one' was 531 with the Zinn forks - next level up from this one so hard to compare the two.
