Diamondback Apex - 1990 I think

1st attempt at retro Mtb build.
Bought the frame after a bit of research showed that the Apex was 2nd from the top of line and I thought that it must be good.

Not sure if it’s the camera or the angle but that head angle looks awfully steep, has it been in an accident?

Really nice, I nearly bought a Diamond Back from this model range in about 1990. I bought a Marin Pine Mountain in the end, because it was discounted, but I still really like that "smoke" paint finish.

Thanks, I'm pleased with how it turned out. This ad from 90' appears to offer all the models with the "smoke* paint
