Diamond Back Dual Response 93 vs 94

Hello guys,

Anyone knows what differences, if any, exist in the frame of the Diamond Back Dual Response 1993 vs 1994 edition?

good question,

I have neither an 93 nor 94 Dual Response, but found those bikes back in time very cool....

From your pictures and bike pics in the brochures, 94 looks in general like the 93 model


just there is not just one model in 94, but two,
the Dual Response

and Dual Response CM (for CroMo, steel)


The latter one has same geo specs, but is different in frame material and diameters, and also in the way the main pivot is connected to the frame.

@joglo great info and whilst I also don't have either I tend to agree that there wasn't a change in frame design for the '93 & '94 aluminium models.

Now if someone could spare a '93 in a small size I'd appreciate it! All the ones I've found have been either cracked or too big

Wow. thank you for the detailed reply and observation about the cromo version. I am looking at the aluminium version, and I cannot spot any differences yet to the alu frame between 93 and 94. will keep digging a bit deeper. thanks again!!
