Diamant CX fixed

Retro Newbie
Hello all , im new to the board.

Building up a really nice Diamant CX frame made in Belgium that I bought from mr Hilary Stone.

Im taking the easy road and will build it up as a fixed gear for some small races here in Stockholm Sweden.

Still waiting for a matching front wheel and some smaller bits to end this build.

/Cheers Andreas

The scene in sweden is not big but not really small either.

Im not quite sure about the gearing of right now, probably
something around 19/46.
Mostly because thats the smallest chainring I got for my old
Sugino Mighty 151bcd crankset.

Got the front wheel today but I was quite surprised when I opened the box and found that the spokes where "bent" in some crazy weavy style.

So It will work for now but Im on the hunt for a front Maillard team 700 front hub and a Mavic Open 4 CD rim in NOS condition.

This is how it looks like for now.

I recall seeing a wheel built with similar spokes in BikeFix (I think) in London in the early nineties. I don't remember the manufacturer, but I do remember being shocked by the price.
