I thought Derek made a very valid point.... kindness is more important than looks or money.

You're ugly and skint aren't you?

That's where my 'but' comes in. I'm not one but another. You're just all three greedy pants and I love you for that.

Put an extra 'T' on the word but and the whole thread would go in a completely new direction!!

I love you too.

Nice one Al.

Steve Coogan....genius. But why does he keep ending up in Shit films like "The Other Guys"??

Hes better than that!

:?

Money

al.

Yeah, thought that as I clicked submit!
Can't help think it's not purely about money for Coogan - where these type of films are concerned.

If we work on the basis that even when exaggerating for effect and act, some of the suggested motivation for Coogan was more about seeing success or attempting to achieve it by doing more american stuff (I'm thinking a lot of the banter between him and Brydon in "The Trip"). Even if that was largely hammed up for effect, and some kind of parody, I do wonder (given the films Coogan has done) as to whether there's some grain of truth there, perhaps subconcious, and maybe something he overly likes the idea of, but all the same is an underlying urge.
