Derailleur as a tensioner

no idea where the thread is but if you have a word with perry he posted a load of pics of home brewed tensioners including lumps of plastic. there were a few mechs on there too.

its because you have done all the hard work already. i had to sift through about 9 pages of your posts before i found it!

so does this mean you dont have a tensioner yet . its only a week away now

sorted the lever , drilled and tapped and borrowed a longer bolt from a spare caliper

now ive got to shorten a hose on another :?

Nah I've got a tensioner for the SSUK bike, this is for something else. Got the Yess one from Octsoc but think this might be better with an old shimano dérailleur I have. Its a work in progress but its not far away

Yup its a cracker, the image came up in a google image search and I read the mtbr thread. when you see what that bike was its an amazing job
