Deore XT Headset / Frogglegs

I've not had much luck today, got my galaxy frame back from the powdercoaters and tried to fit some of the stuff I have recently bought in anticipation of this moment.

But......Denied!

I have now for sale:

White frogglegs cantilever brakeset
these are the empella inplace version (read: more expensive version) that have adjustable brake pads or something.

some marks from test fitting but nothing you won't do yourself.

These are nice and light and really look the part but just dont fit the galaxy properly, the pads don't clear the stays and they just generally don't work with this frame. I'm quite hacked off about it really.

They fit my more modern cross frame ok but that's not why I bought them

But anyway:

And A Deore XT 1" Alloy Headset

Again, a nice piece of kit. Good condition and very light.

The bloody crown race wouldn't fit my forks, I had to refit the crappy black steel one that came on the bike originally.


There's a bit of marking from removing the lower part from the frame but nothing that will cause any problems.

Hi,

Try this:

the damage is just a couple of slight marks from me using a screwdriver to knock it out of the headtube. A few seconds with a round file would sort it, i just don't have one right now.

The bearings are there, they were in the cups in the first pic.[/list]
